Ground & Water

An assessment has been undertaken to determine the potential impact of the development on local hydrological conditions and private water supplies. This involved consultation with Herefordshire Council, Powys County Council and the Environment Agency, along with desk studies of geological data from British Geological Survey.

The results of the desk study and site walkover provided baseline environmental information with respect to the local water environment. These results have allowed the identification of potential impacts during the construction, operation and decommissioning phases with respect to hydrological conditions. Following the assessment, recommendations for mitigation to negate or minimise these impacts have also been provided.
